How to help Inflammation naturally
Inflammation can be a healthy response from the body such as when we cut ourselves, it can aid the healing of the injury. The challenge comes when inflammation becomes chronic and is on going. This is a sign that your body is in a state of stress. Chronic inflammation has been shown to be the root of almost every health condition or illness including – Thyroid conditions, autoimmune conditions, chronic pain, cancers, arthritis and fatigue just to name a few.
The source of this chronic inflammation is all a result of many different lifestyle stressors accumulating over time including nervous system stress and nutritional imbalances. Today, our world is full of toxins everywhere we look. The Western diet has also been affected by the food industry and we are consuming too many processed foods instead of the wholesome diets. Most of us all stressed and always on the go causing lack of energy and vitality. Overtime this leads to illness and disease.
The good news is the we can recreate this balance and cleanse our body of these built up toxins.
The Acid / Alkaline balance
Like with water, we also have an optimal pH in our body. Our body works at its best when it is slightly alkaline. Bacteria, viruses and cancer cells cannot survive or flourish in an alkaline environment, however they do love an acidic one. Inflammation is caused by an acidic environment.
So the key to helping reducing inflammation is to bring your body is back into an alkaline state.
Balanced body chemistry and maintaining a proper balance between acid and alkaline foods in your diet are of vital importance to maintaining health. Having slightly acidic blood depletes your resources of minerals and vitamins in your tissue. In fact, too much acidity in the body’s tissues cause mutation in the cells, which leads to health challenges. In a normal healthy body, your blood pH is 7.365.
Not only does this prevent essential nutrients from being fully absorbed, but also drains your body’s energy as it attempts to remove the waste. This causes toxins to be passed on farther to the liver and eventually your blood, depleting the oxygen levels in all the cells of your body.
